Shopify theme customisation and optimisation for a growing jewellers
Introduction
Regal are a growing jewellery and diamond business based in the famous Hatton Garden, London. When they came to me they had a new basic Shopify store but wished to develop this into a store to compete with their top competitors in the area. A great user experience (UX) was essential so we embarked on a series of customisations to achieve this, such as design styling, menu customisation, video integration and image galleries, which were not part of the original Shopify theme.
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) was also a top priority as a large potion of their customers would find them through organic web search, so we introduced an improved category landing page structure as well as onsite SEO best practices.
