Mobile responsive E-commerce website design, build and ongoing support for the Welsh seaweed company.

Introduction

Redesign and migration to Shopify.

The Pembrokeshire Beach Food Company are a fantastic local business producing seaweed products in South Wales. Their previous website was using an outdated version of Wordpress and an obsolete E-commerce plugin which was difficult to use with potential security problems.

I advised a migration to the Shopify platform for its ease of use, fast development time, and fully managed hosting and security and well as access to a huge rage of e-commerce plugins.

As the site was being migrated we decide to carry out a redesign at the same time to give the outdated styling and facelift, as well as making it mobile friendly. A design more inline with the brand identity was developed and applied across the site and new sections were added for blogs and recipe content. Product content was reviewed and optimised to perform better in search engines and help convert views into sales.

The site's sales have since increased many times over.
